The Porthcawl Christmas Morning Swim has run every Christmas morning since 1965. What began as a handful of locals taking a dip has grown into one of Wales' biggest festive charity events — well over a thousand swimmers in fancy dress, thousands of spectators, and a town that turns out together at Sandy Bay. As a registered charity (no. 1217800) it gives the money raised back out as grants to local charities and good causes.
- 60+ years running every Christmas morning since 1965
