We are raising money for local Macmillan Cancer Support...

There are 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK today, and as more people live longer with their cancer, this number is set to grow to 4 million by 2030. Macmillan want to make sure that they can provide support to everyone who needs it, to help people affected by cancer feel more in control of their lives.

Our swimmers

Myself, Nicky (11) and Ellie (10) are doing the Christmas Swim in Porthcawl this year because we are all really fed up of being warm (Haha) and to raise money for local Macmillan Cancer Support and other local charities and organisations. Ellie doesn’t think it’ll be that cold and has said she will dunk her head under if we manage to raise £30 for charity. Wishing you a wonderful (and warm) Christmas. ❤️

This Christmas before we dig in to our roast dinner, Emily and I are taking part in the Porthcawl Christmas swim. We love the outdoors, and have decided to put ourselves through this freezing cold ordeal to help raise money for local Macmillan Cancer Support. Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer either directly or indirectly, and the work that Macmillan do is invaluable to support those who are going through one of the toughest times in their lives. Please dig deep and help us achieve our goal.

I am doing the Christmas Swim in Porthcawl this year to raise money for local Macmillan Cancer Support and other local charities and organisations. This is something I've wanted to do for a long time for some festive fun and will raise money for an organisation close to my heart. Any donations you can give for this life changing charity would be much appreciated. Do something amazing this Christmas. See you down the front dressed up like a Christmas tree! Many thanks and Merry Christmas x

It’s so easy at this time of year to get caught up in festive indulgences. So before scoffing the turkey and quaffing the sherry this year, Sophie and I are planning to take to the sea as part of the Christmas Swim in Porthcawl to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. So many of us have had our lives touched by cancer in some way and Macmillan provide support second to none. Dig deep and help us support this worthwhile cause.

Bright and early on Christmas Day we will be hop-skipping and jumping into the sea to raise money for the local Macmillan Cancer Support Services. So on this chiiiilly christmas please spread a little cheer and warm our hearts by donating what you can!
